“I had a life-changing weekend...how do you describe that to people?
”
InterMission was launched in 2005 out of the passion and heart of Pastor Ron Klok. The 2.5 day silent-directed retreat is for those who desire to deepen and enrich their prayer life. It is for those who are simply seeking a time away to rest, refresh, and renew, and for those longing for God. InterMission is an opportunity for people to pray and discern God’s movement in their lives in a way they would not normally create for themselves.
A few reasons to attend:
Your soul needs you to unplug and enjoy some peace and quiet.
You want to grow in prayer.
You want to know Jesus more and follow him more closely.
You need to step out of life for a moment in order to gain perspective.
You have become distracted from the one thing that matters.
Things have broken down and you need a place to heal.
Upcoming Retreats:
October 28-30 at Star of the North.
Included in the cost is 5 meals, 2 nights, up to 3 sessions of spiritual direction, and access to all the amenities of the Centre. Star of the North is located near the many trails that run through St. Albert, including the trails along the Sturgeon River. It is a lovely setting and a cozy retreat house.
